The Living Water varsity boys soccer team saw its first action of the season at a preseason jamboree hosted by Faith Christian. The Warriors opened the day against NCCSA conference rival Wilson Christian. Living Water started strong, moving the ball well and maintaining possession throughout the opening 10 minutes. However, Wilson Christian eventually took control of the pace and found the back of the net once (Living Water had an own goal), handing the Warriors a 2-0 loss. Living Water showed a pretty steady improvement throughout the remainder of the jamboree. The Warriors battled Wayne Christian to a 1-1 draw before closing out the day with another 1-1 draw against tournament host Faith Christian. For only having 12 players, the jamboree was a great first step in the right direction. Living Water officially opens the 2026 season on Thursday, August 13, at home against Wayne Country Day.
